Lux Cozi (also written Lux Cozy) is one of India's leading underwear brands[1], part of the Rs. 400 crore Lux Hosiery group. The brand turnover is about Rs. 100 crores, mostly from rural India.
The brand was involved in a controversy after its owner, Ashok Todi was charged in the murder of Rizwanur Rahman[2], who had married Modi's daughter. In February 2010, the IPL cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders and its film-star owner Shahrukh Khan cancelled a publicity contract with Lux Cozi after widespread anger was directed at them[3].
Despite initial reports of a fall in sales after the killing[4][5], the company appears to have been doing well[6].
